The room is attractively furnished and a nice size and there are absolutely stunning views on the mountains. The hotel's location is top and the staff are friendly and delightfully helpful. It's also very close to mountains, a beautiful quiet valley, generously sized room, tasty breakfast and evening meal at the on and Switzerland.

The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast, though simple, hit the spot. Plenty of parking spaces were available and the peaceful ambiance made for a relaxing stay. The coffee at breakfast was a nice touch and the red wine suggested by the owner was EXQUISITE. The historical charm of the place added to the overall experience.

Incredible mountain views from the spacious balcony. The staff is always smiling and kind, even when we arrived after closing time, keys were awaiting us in an envelope. The breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold food. Spacious rooms had a dining area and balcony. Free parking made the trip even budget-friendly and the location is peaceful, far from traffic noise.

I absolutely loved the location of Historisches Hotel Baren. The view from my room was stunning and it made my stay even more enjoyable. The size of the room was perfect and I appreciated the presence of a water boiler and tea bags. The friendly boss made me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my stay.
